Environmental Responsibility

At CPT, we manage our business in a manner that protects both the environment and the health and safety of our community.

We invested heavily in our state-of-the-art wastewater treatment system. This system keeps all effluent well within the Michigan DEQ parameters, and the excess capacity built into the system allows for ample future expansion.

In recent years CPT has been moving towards entirely Hexavalent free, all Trivalent, ROHS compliant processes. We currently have only a few remaining specialty applications requiring Hexavalent chemistry and continue to work with our customers to convert these to Trivalent as soon as possible.
